More detailed bios below:
BLAKE SCOTT is a junior Pre-Med, Molecular Biology Honors Student at East Central University. His main goal in working with OSGA is to serve the students of Oklahoma by being actively involved at both the state and local levels. Blake intends to work for the protection of student rights and the unification of the Student Associations across the state and is grateful to serve in the position of President of the OSGA BoD. He would like to see as many universities as possible take part in the OSGA and would have them take advantage of the benefits that involvement provides.
STEPHANIE THOMPSON is a Music Education major from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha. Her goals for the OSGA focus on an increased involvement from schools and a focus on unity as her desire to see the organization grow drives her to serve students across the state.
JERRECK MCWILLIAMS is a senior Journalism major and Parsons Scholar from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He is active in SOSU’s Honors Program and has served on Student Senate there for four years. Jerreck seeks to increase the awareness of the OSGA on college campuses across Oklahoma, as well as highlight the local issues faced by individual universities, bringing them to the attention of the OSGA.
KAILYN PARKER is a Junior at East Central University in Ada. She is majoring in communication to become a news broadcaster. She is serving the Oklahoma Student Government Association as the Southeast Regional Director. She hopes that the Student Government Associations in her region become actively involved in OSGA and combine their powers to become a booming voice in fighting for higher education in the state of Oklahoma.
KIMBERLY TUTTLE is a Business Administration and Computer Information Systems double major at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. She serves as the Student Association President for her campus and is interested in keeping OPSU involved on the state level with OSGA. It is important to her to meet and network with other university leaders and work toward common goals to improve the overall SGA.
C.J. CAVIN is majoring in Political Science with minors in Leadership Studies and Philosophy at Oklahoma State University and has an extensive background of servant leadership. As an intern, C.J. assists with special projects, website development, prospect research and client satisfaction, and strategic planning. C.J. specializes in connecting with social media and how it can impact organizations.
C.J. has served as Public Relations Coordinator for Oklahoma Business Professionals of America. He has also served in the Residence Halls Association, Student Government Association, Southwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls, Residential Life, the Office of Student Affairs and Service Learning Volunteer Center.
While representing every college student in Oklahoma as President of the Oklahoma Student Government Association, C.J. began working with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. C.J. had the opportunity to connect with state leaders while he was advocating for all students in higher education. C.J. initiated an internship with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and worked for the Grants and External Fundraising office where he researched grant opportunities and former regent biographies, assisted with conference development, and streamlined grant resources. In addition to the internship work, he attended events and meetings, which bolstered his management and leadership experience.
C.J. now serves as the Parliamentarian for the OSGA Board of Directors, the Chairperson of the 31st Congress, and as an advisor to the Board of Directors and the Oklahoma Student Government Association.
